This Privacy Policy explains how Schindler Bros. Truck Services, Inc. ("Schindler Bros.," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares and protects information when you visit this website or contact us through it (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to this Privacy Policy and to our Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you request an estimate or contact us, you may provide:
- Your name, company name, email address and phone number
- Vehicle details, such as vehicle type, number of units and a description of damage or service needed
- Any other information you choose to include in a message, email or phone call
Please do not send sensitive personal information (such as Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers or payment card numbers) through the Site.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, the Site and our hosting providers may automatically collect:
- Device and browser information, IP address, general location (city or region), referring pages and pages viewed
- Date, time and duration of visits and basic interaction data
- Information stored in cookies, local storage or similar technologies (see Section 5)
2. How we use information
- To respond to inquiries, prepare estimates and provide, schedule and complete services
- To communicate with you by phone, email or text message about your request, your vehicles or our services
- To operate, secure, maintain and improve the Site
- To detect and prevent spam, fraud, abuse and security incidents
- To keep business records and comply with legal, tax, insurance and regulatory obligations
- To enforce our Terms and Conditions and protect our rights, property and safety and those of others
3. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may share information with:
- Service providers that help us run the Site and our business, such as website hosting and content management (Wix and its infrastructure providers), customer relationship management, email, analytics and IT support. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
- Parties involved in your repair, such as your insurer, adjuster, fleet manager, leasing or rental company, or parts suppliers, when needed to complete or be paid for work you request.
- Legal and safety recipients when required by law, subpoena or court order, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect rights, property or safety.
- Business transfers, in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of all or part of our business.
4. Third-party services
The Site is hosted on Wix and uses third-party services such as Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address and browser information when the Site loads. Links to other websites (for example, event or sponsor pages) are provided for convenience. Those services and websites have their own privacy practices, and we are not responsible for them.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
Some cookies are strictly necessary to run the Site and keep it secure, so they are always on. These are set by our hosting platform, Wix, and currently include wixSession and client-session-bind (session and security) and bSession (platform performance and diagnostics).
Everything else is your choice. The first time you visit, a banner lets you accept optional cookies or keep only the essential ones, and nothing optional loads until you accept. The optional categories are analytics (understanding how the Site is used) and advertising (measuring our ads and reaching people who have visited). At present we do not run any analytics or advertising cookies on the Site. If we add tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads or the Meta pixel, they will load only for visitors who have accepted those categories.
When you make a choice on the banner, we keep a record of it: the option you chose, the wording shown to you at the time, the date, and a one-way hashed form of your IP address that cannot be turned back into an address. We keep this only to show that choices are honored, and we do not use it to identify or track you.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some features may stop working. The Site does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" signals; where required by law, we honor recognized opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control.
6. Communications and texts
By submitting your phone number or email, you agree that we may contact you about your inquiry and related services by phone, email or text message. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time by replying STOP to a text, using the unsubscribe link in an email, or contacting us. We may still send non-marketing messages about active work or estimates.

We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including to maintain business, repair and warranty records and to meet legal, tax, insurance and accounting requirements, and then delete or anonymize it.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect information. However, no website, internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of any information. You provide information at your own risk.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before responding, and we may decline requests where permitted by law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
10. Artificial intelligence
We may use artificial intelligence and automated tools to help run our business, for example to create or edit website content, organize inquiries, draft communications or summarize information you send us. We do not use AI to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you without human involvement. Information you submit may be processed by our service providers' AI-enabled features under their own terms and privacy commitments. We do not permit our service providers to use your personal information to train their general AI models where we can control that setting. 11. Children
The Site is intended for businesses and adults. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Where information is processed
We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. By using the Site, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in the United States.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when it was last changed. Changes are effective when posted. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept them.
